Hosted by SukumaRIZE Youth Expressions, Camp Sukuma is an annual week-long youth empowerment summer event in the kingdom of Swaziland. For 7 days (6 nights) young people between the ages of 13 – 23yrs, those in high school and gap year (waiting for college) ones gather from different churches, denominations, areas and backgrounds for social and spiritual empowerment. The main focus of this event is to impact the youth with activities that introduce and promote good morals, self-identity and leadership in line with ‘making today’s youth, future leaders today’ as the SukumaRIZE slogan says.

12th – 18th December

Camp Sessions

Since the target is to impact the young person holistically, our day begins with an early morning devotion (prayer) and ends with an evening worship service. The rest of the day is dedicated to diverse lecture, artistic and practical sessions with 30 minute breaks between sessions (besides breakfast, lunch and supper). During the morning session it’s lectures then in the afternoon it’s more engaging as they are practical and discussions.

In order to ensure that you don’t experience a culture shock, please just bring decent and respectable casual clothing. It’s Christian camp right, but please don’t do the strictly formal ‘going to church’ type of clothes!

Camp Costs

E350.00 per head  for 7 days & 6 nights. This amount includes transport, accommodation, meals, etc….
