In December 2006 Emmanuel Dlamini was roped in as an ordinary member of Camp Sukuma’s management team since he was also part of Vessel of Glory under the leadership of Pastor Thethe (founder of SukumaRIZE and Vessel of Glory). Working under Pastor Thethe’s eye and also having the passion of serving, engaging and empowering young people using spiritual, psycho-social and other relevant programs through the arts and entertainment, he was then appointed as Director of the new SukumaRIZE Youth Expressions organ in 2009.
Previously he served as part of the Leadership and Discipleship structures at Youth For Christ Swaziland where he was also influential in hosting the Sunday afternoon gathering that reached many inner city youth in Manzini, the hub of Swaziland. He has travelled extensively all over the four regions of Swaziland speaking and performing to thousands of youth in Christian gatherings, national conferences, rallies and one one-one ministry outreach/evangelism since 2001. His natural love and calling for serving people has seen him sacrifice a lot of personal ambitions in favor of seeing young people empowered, transformed and groomed to be responsible citizens of our world through the uncompromised but relevantly packaged message of Jesus Christ.
Through his personal experiences first as a Swazi youth living in today’s challenging times, also being a Christian, he has realized that the challenges faced by young people transcend denominations, cultures, nations or religion. Hence he strongly believes in the SukumaRIZE concept. He always endeavors to work with a humble spirit, passion and ambition in serving the needs of Swaziland’s youth.
In addition to his work as Director of SukumaRIZE Youth Expressions organ, Emmanuel is also an ordained preacher/minister/pastor at The Fellowship of God’s Holy Place (GHP). He is a spoken word artist (poetry), musician, facilitator, speaker and also dreams of hosting motivational, team building workshops and leadership seminars.
